The Kano State Fire Service on Friday stated that eight stores had been destroyed in an early morning fireplace at Katsina Road, Muletara roundabout, in Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano.
Alhaji Saidu Mohammed, the spokesman of the service, who confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said that the fireplace started at approximately 6:15 a.M.
“We obtained a misery call at our station in Dawanua in recent times (Friday) from one Aliyu Mansir at about 6:151a.M that there has been a fireplace at Muletara roundabout.
Upon receiving the information, we fast sent a hearth truck to the scene at about 6.Fifty 8 a.M to deliver the scenario underneath control in order now not to have an impact on distinctive shops,’’ he stated.
